My 9th great-grandparents, John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley, came over on the Mayflower. Elizabeth was a passenger along with her parents, John Tilly, Sr. and Joan Hurst. John Howland was an indentured servant of John Carver, who, along with Elizabeth's parents, did not survive the first winter after their arrival at Plymouth.

Line of Eligibility for Membership in the Society of Mayflower Descendants
(pending completion of documentation)

General Society of Mayflower Descendants Research Center has confirmed this blood lineage from John Howland through Barzillai Worth and his son Alexander Worth, brother of Mary Worth, and furnished a copy of the approved Application GS#-98144 (TX3866).
  1. John Howland
  2. Desire Howland
  3. Shubael Gorham
  4. Lydia Gorham
  5. Thomas Worth
  6. Barzillai Worth

Documentation is being researched to confirm the continuance of the blood lineage from Barzillai Worth through his daughter Mary to the author, as DNA evidence also suggests.
