More information is needed to support the possibility of Robert Pierrepont as the father of Henry Pierpont 1613-1681. 

The difference in dates might be reconcilable, but on the Find a Grave memorial, Robert's son is Henry Pierrepont 1606-1680 (Find a Grave memorial).. 

If it can be reasonably demonstrated that Robert Pierrepont, 1584-1643, is the father of Henry Pierpoint, 1613-1681, then his father is Henry Pierrepont, 1546-1615, son of George Pierrepont, 1510-1564, and Find a Grave memorials exist for each of them. Each also has a record in my Ancestry tree, but I have disconnected Robert as the father of Henry pending additional information.  

Also, Robert's spouse in my tree is Gertrude Talbot 1588-1645, daughter of Henry Talbot 1554-1596, son of George Tabot 1528-1590, son of Francis Talbot 1500-1560, son of George Talbot 1468-1538, and I have disconnected her as the mother of Henry pending addition information.
